Exciting News! David Veeder and Scott McRae are developing a commercial subdivision behind Big Bear and Best Buy, adjacent to W.24th St. just south of King Ave. What's so exciting is that as part of their development, they are creating a greenway and building a bike/pedestrian concrete trail along the half mile slope that defines the north edge of their property.
This section of trail will eventually connect to the trail corridor that is being planned from Descro Park Trail at Central to King Ave. and from King Ave. to Shiloh and ZooMontana. Dave and Scott have had strong interest from potential businesses for location in their subdivision because of the greenway and trail and so they have decided to start construction immediately on this amenity. It is appears that this addition will cost them at least $300,000 and now they are looking at the possibility of also incorporating a sculpture garden within the corridor. What a wonderful addition to the Billings community and what a wonderful example of promoting the trails and enhancing the aesthetic of our business/commercial environment. We hope this raises the standards for development in the Billing's community. Thank you Dave and Scott!
